This first EP of Human Rebellion is a nice overview of their universe. An atmosphere globally dark but also sometimes very deep and contrasted, composed of cold and percussive basslines, hypnotic arpeggios, sci-fi textures straight out of their modular and analog synths. When I found out about Wibo’s death I was crushed, as most of us were. Firstly, I thought it was one of his jokes, he had a sharp sense of a humour, but not in a harmful way; he just loved to move you out of your comfort zone. We worked on this EP for almost a year. Wibo wanted to be involved with me again somehow but collabs were not an option, since we had different studio setups (similar but not close enough). I also didn’t want to distract him from his work on his full-length album at that time. We had done remixes for each other sometime ago (Evan's Gambit was done in 2018.) He wanted to include the Stormfront remix too, but I rejected that idea since I no longer have the stems and project files needed to do a mixdown that would do the track justice. For the Future Eyes remix we had a project file and partial stems, but not the original samples that he used. I did my best to pimp it a bit because the low end was lacking and because it was my favourite remix and, most importantly, it is the first remix w1b0 did for someone. I hope you will enjoy this release.
Dear Wibo, I hope you will forgive me for dragging out the release of our EP celebrating our long and close friendship. We will hit the release date that we spoke about originally though. I had said there was no hurry as I had two releases that were in the pipeline and you agreed, telling me that good things take time. I wish we could do more since we now have almost identical setups, or at least most of the equipment we use daily is the same. You may notice on the record there is no information e.g., artist names, track names, catalogue number and so on. It does not matter to me; I am not important here - the music is the most important thing, along with our friendship. I hope you will agree with me. That is why this release comes with an A4 insert instead, dedicated to you. It was a blessing to have you as a friend.

The two long time friends Grammar of Movement and ECXO are finally teaming up as Parallel Planet on the split EP Mixtus Orbis with Le Matin via Maturre Records. Based on their music, it's easy to hear the high collaborative energy the two producers have when they're in the studio together.

These two Aarhus born producers are very inspired by the roots of detroit electro sound and have achieved their own groovy, pacy and trippy sound universe with the blend of soft analogue and edgy digital synthesizers. Two tracks for the dancefloor and one for the mind.

State Of The Ether is a bi-monthly radio show on @operator-radio. Its focus lies on the artists along the axis Rotterdam <-> Leipzig and their music. Aiming to showcase unreleased tracks, an amalgam of unfinished, unmastered and not quite thought out tunes is presented.

This episode celebrates the release of CLEAR009 - Dog Balls - Tell It To My Dog. It does so by showing a retrospect on the works that Clear Memory has put out so far. There might be some unreleased tracks inside as well!

In the past few years LAU has become one of the key figures of Budapest electronic music and club scene as a DJ and producer. Our label's relationship with her musical journey goes back almost to the beginning, as we had the privilege of releasing her first track on one of our compilations with Farbwechsel, followed by quite a few songs on more various artists, her first remix for Krypton 81 and a collaboration EP with CT Kidobó.

Now, Dalmata Daniel has the honour to share LAU's first 4-track solo release on our DDE series. We are sure a lot of people have waited for this as we are. DDE05 is a nice variety of her sounds lead by electro influence that we can catch all in her tracks.

'Mort Subite' and 'Sea Of Distance' are based on strong melodies, bright and uplifting in the first one and melancolic in the last one, but both are deep emotional and of course these tracks come with heavy broken beats. In contrast, the two middle songs, 'Lip-Size Bites' and 'Freak It All Night' have a raw electro sound with ghettotech influences and vocals by herself!

Next up on Co-Accused Records - No Static / Automatic label boss ARA-U is piloting the craft with his NO FUTURE EP. The Venezuelan Electro producer provides four analogue cuts accompanied by a Radioactive Man remix.

It's a cosmic liftoff with the mind warping sonic sounds of 'Planet Destroy'. Radioactive Man's funk fueled remix has an infectious 303 bassline that takes the listener on a jackin 'journey. On the flip side 'Exit Now' moves into driving hypnotic synths with sizzling percussion throughout. 'No Future' dips the dancefloor into a twisting wormhole of intergalactic grooves. The EP closes with the dark dystopian synths and extraterrestrial layers of 'It’s Only Lies Around Me'.

PREMIERE: Ara-U - Exit Now (Co-Accused)

030/313 – Berlin/Detroit, the fundamental techno union. Now Carhartt WIP, whose roots can be traced to Detroit, Michigan, join forces with Tresor for a collaboration that celebrates the enduring spirit of two music metropolises. Referencing the early 90s compilations like "Tresor II – A Techno Alliance", they present a 12" mini compilation with exclusive material from both cities.  

The compilation opens with "I.D.L.E.", a lost Model 500 track, of essential funk that touches the techno soul of The Motorcity, with trippy melodies and cosmic drilling traversing electrified Mojo freeways. It's followed by another true Detroiter: Ectomorph's "Searching (Live At Globus)", a first extract from their live set at Globus in 2021, which BMG and Erika played on borrowed equipment after Erika's case was lost on a flight. The A-Side stays in Detroit and finishes with "Your Body", an exclusive track by AMX, also known as The AM, one of Detroit's freshest funk techno sensations. She carries on the mentorship mindset by having learned from two of the greatest: D.I.E. and Scan 7. "Your Body" is a classic techno feel swinger, where subtle chords meet drum machine funk in the spirit of early Detroit techno.

DJ Stingray 313 opens the B-Side with a bang. Precisely hacked techno, full of dark funk and that special industrial jack, that the man in the mask has made his own. A total "Dynamic Instability". Magic & furious. The thrill continues with "Metal Goat", by JakoJako, one of Berlin's brightest synth sensations. She provides an introspective grower that slowly evolves into a fast-paced techno grinder, laden with micro shifts and magic twists. The final tune comes from Erik Jabari, a newcomer from the 030 zone, emerging from the Hard Wax peers with haunting modular synth techno – a feverish minimalistic trip of motorized kicks. DJ Pete performed as spiritual guidance on this one. It's floor proven. An overall cachet of "030313" - the small compilation with a huge techno heart.

They moved slowly across the desert sand, leaving a trail in their wake. The stars flickered up above against a deep coal sky, wispy and wondrous in the midst of the night. It might as well be night for the sun had never reached these parts, up on a distant planet far away from everything they’d ever known.

They’d been here for one week, amidst a barren landscape on the red ash. Perhaps this would one day become home but for now it felt as if everything was fighting against them in a bid to make them leave. Be it the cold wind of the morning or the raucous heat of the afternoon.

This was a wild world of a place.
