Aztronouth (also known as Oortfunk) is an electronic music artist and DJ from the Netherlands, active for more than 20 years. He is the founder of Mechanism, a long-running Amsterdam event series dedicated to Detroit techno and electro.

As Aztronouth, he produces futuristic electro and techno, while under his alias Oortfunk he explores downtempo synth-funk and experimental sounds. His music reflects strong influences from hip-hop, disco, Detroit techno, and hi-tek soul, blending them into a distinctive style.

He is part of Waveform Syndicate [LIVE] (with Luus and Machinefunk) and has released music on respected labels such as CyberDomain, Boomstraat1818, Connectome Records, Abstract Rhythm, and Space Is The Place. Notable releases include the Aztroverse EP (CyberDomain, 2025) and Durgan’s Odyssey (Boomstraat1818).

VA - Robot Connection #002 EP [Electro Music Coalition // EMC V019]

На 19-м виниловом релизе от ELECTRO MUSIC COALITION в виде второй части интернационального блокбастера Robot Connection пересеклись: Дмитрий Ларионов, участник команды вышеупомянутого значка; Сергей Тимошов, известный на международной сцене по управлению рекорд-лейблом  Propaganda Moscow; римский продюсер и совладелец MinimalRome Джанлуки Бертази ака TeslaSoniс и более чем узнаваемый DJ и продюсер Нового Света Ole Mic Odd.

 12-дюймовка наполнена траками чистого электро без примесей и начинается с композиции Planet X, пропитанной глубоким грувом, узнаваемыми для композитора тембрами винтажных синтов и не менее узнаваемыми низходящими секвенционными перемещениями. Далее следует дорожка Let’s Go To The EMC, которая увеличивает динамику пластинки. Стаккато исполнение лид-партии и четкие брэйк-кики создают общую гнетущую атмосферу, образуя смачный кач. Варьирование основной темы к концу трака добавляет колорита в и без того 100% танцпольный киллер.

На обратной стороне этого четырехтрекера нас ожидает произведение Interlinked, продолжающее тяготящий тон за счет диссонирующих интервалов и акцентированных синтезаторных риффов, сохраняя при этом увесистый грув. Завершает компиляцию ньюскульная фанковая композиция классических структур ELECTRO с говорящим названием My Funk, где активизирует звучание синкопированный лид на упругий и четкий ритм, интенсивная фильтрация войса и выраженные текстуры побочных партий поверх общей пульсации. 

Подводя итог можно сказать, что Robot Connection вновь собирает продюсеров с разных частей света, формируя на пластинке мировую ELECTRO нацию. Сам же сборник выдержан в ровном и последовательном ключе, где каждый трак определенно сохраняет традиционные формы вышеуказанного жанра в мире гибридизации стилей и звука.

Gladio Operations continues its expansion into the electro universe and, with this fourteenth release, lands in Viking lands, giving Danish producer Martin Stoffregen his debut on the label.
 This artist, who releases his work under the alias Krypton 81, is no stranger to the scene, having released on major labels such as Bass Agenda and Mars Frequency, among others.  On this EP, entitled “Quantum Entanglement”, we sense a breath of fresh air in its three original tracks, which are refined and elegant. With strong sequences and adorned with sublime textures, we encounter “Binary Encoding”, the track that opens the EP and shows us the way to “Particle Proximity” and “Quantum Computing”. These two Kraftwerk-flavoured tracks are imbued with captivating melodies and subtle vocals, transporting us to an infinite emotional state of continuous well-being.  This EP is reinforced with two heavyweight remixes. The first is by producer Univac, who returns to the label and gives us his particular vision of “Binary Encoding”, once again showcasing his unmistakable and classic industrial sound, dark and emotive. The second remix is by German producer Vertical67, who gives “Quantum Computing” more hypnotic tones than the original piece, turning it into a simultaneous work of mystery and suspense.
