Imagine a very special turtle which is born with a pearl. It protects the pearl with its shell and no other creatures can't take their eyes off it's beauty. This is the turtle's story. Dance with it in the depths of the sea.

This year, I contribute to Piano Day playlist with my piano composition, ''Turtle with a Pearl''  which is dedicated to the day, and I want to thank Nils Frahm and his crew for giving this opportunity every year, enjoy the music!

'Scenes from the four seasons' is a collection of unreleased tracks and b-sides from 2012, running through the four seasons and stopping at some intimate moments in Winter, a tranquil evening in Autumn, two seaside scenes between Spring and Summer.

I decided to have all these tracks together in this collection not only because of the common theme, but above all because, when I started working on my first modern classical album, that will be released later this year, I didn't want to left all these works incomplete, even if they were mostly expression of ideas and style still imperfect and evolving.

I'm sure you'll find a moment of peace and tranquillity in these notes, and even some passages that represents your life during the seasons, an intimate moment, as when you're at home and the snow starts falling in winter, or when you first see the seaside in spring.

My wife and I were gifted an old spinet piano when we bought a house in 2015. Always slightly out of tune, a little dusty sounding, and very much imperfect, the instrument has its own character. But it wasn’t until I cut up an old sweater and taped it to the strings, so as to avoid waking up the family at night, that my love for that character really took form. While piano is certainly a part of the Elskavon sound, I was writing so many new songs on this spinet that I felt the need to start a whole new project. Blurstem was birthed. While the sound is a not-so-distant relative of Elskavon, the heart of it is a minimalist, raw, and intimate feel.

ST is a project led by Spanish composer and producer Vicente Bueso. Influenced by artists like Ryuichi Sakamoto, Brian Eno, Wim Mertens, Peter Gabriel, and Dead Can Dance, he experiments with new, contemporary approaches to Classical, Ambient, and Dramatic music. Much of Science Teheran's music features dreamy piano and strings, as well as beautifully atmospheric synthetic elements.
