HUG LIFE

"Humanoids" is a sci fi track depicting an alien invasion of earth. At this point the Aliens have targetted earth for invasion.

They are a funky little bunch though and using live bass guitar over a sampled and highly edited drum beat we get a sci fi funk rhythm.

The track is given an off the wall zany feeling with it's use of alien voice samples, strange noises, analogue synths (mainly the Yamaha cs 70m)  and an experimental arrangement.

Humanoids

I've made an album compilation of nine tracks, on a desert theme. There's quite a mix from jazzy , funky, chill-hop, tribal, worldmusic, a collaboration, to ambient sounds all with a chillout lounge feel. 

I've previously shared all the tracks on the album on Soundcloud, but I've put them on one album as they seem to fit together quite well.

Desert Traveller (Album)

Inspired by a 70's Dario Argento horror movie, this track was built around a heavily sequenced Moog bassline with a hard cyclic filter effect offset by smooth analogue string pads.

The Joy of Synthesizers

The Joker and the Queen of Hearts is a concept album.  The theme is apocolyptic, but not dark.  Its purpose is to ignite contemplation on the signs of the time unfolding around us and to evaluate the worldwide ideas revealing the evolution of the collective consciousness.  Our attitude towards and love of classic rock, especially themed and open to a psychadelic influence, has inspired us over the last 13 years to work towards a sound that celebrates and works within the classic rock genre.  Pink Floyd and The Doors are the two heaviest influences upon our style, recording technique, and compositional procedures.  Certainly there are also influences from Jethro Tull, Neil Young, The Rolling Stones, and Jimi Hendrix.  Our hope is that this album will be appreciated as a work of creativity and for its thematic story telling.
