After years in the making, we are beyond excited to unveil one of the most anticipated releases in the history of Universal Tribe Records, a project that pays tribute to the legacy of a modern classic while breathing new life into its story.

Originally sparked during Freedom Fighters’ debut tour of Australia, Australiens quickly evolved into an iconic collaboration with progressive techno powerhouses Martin Vice & Michael Banel (MVMB). The track was later released in 2016 as part of MVMB’s debut album on Iboga Records, capturing a moment in time that merged the raw, open energy of the Australian scene with an international touch of cinematic psychedelia.

Now, nine years on, we’ve been granted the rare opportunity to reimagine this masterpiece with a signature Universal Tribe twist. What has emerged is a remix compilation that honours the past while surging forward, a curated celebration of Bush Prog brought to life by some of Australia’s most respected pioneers and the next generation of sonic storytellers, artists known for delivering the finest sounds our scene has to offer.

Featuring transformative remixes by Pspiralife, Ryanosaurus, Sumiruna, Scionaugh, and Doonz, this release brings a fresh, driving perspective to a timeless track, layered, deep, and completely dialled in to the unique rhythm of the Australian bush.

One thing’s for sure: with this release, the journey doesn’t stop,

This isn’t just a track.
 It’s a report.
“Experiencer” — the new transmission from Scionaugh & Koshiro — was never meant for public release.
Originally archived under “UAP-1423” in a private collection of unreleased audio, the recording was flagged as “potentially destabilising” by unnamed authorities before launch.
On the night of the recording, multiple witnesses reported pulsating lights above a remote location in the Australian bush.
No aircraft were logged. No satellites overhead.
 A reconstruction of the soundscape heard by multiple witnesses during a series of unexplained aerial phenomena over remote bushland in Australia.

The track was immediately flagged, archived under “UAP: Experiencer,” and restricted from public release.
Until now.
They tried to classify it.
They erased the original logs.
 But the signal leaked anyway.
Now it’s in your hands.
 A real-time sonic translation of a UFO sighting — and maybe a contact.
Play it loud.

Here is a lush old tune that I wrote with my bro @paratantra back at the beginning of 2018. This track has been played in nearly every one of my sets for the past year and it is with great pleasure that I release it to the world.  
It has been released on Tranquil Sounds production as part of their compilation The Audio Nest. All funds raised go towards the costs of the Tree Psyde Project Day, where we planted 700 trees, removed 30 bags of noxious weeds and fed over 80 volunteers. Throughout his career as a producer, Scionaugh has enchanted dancefloors across major festivals, including Earth Frequency, Esoteric, Elements, Bohemian Beatfreaks, Twisted Frequency NZ, Elysium, Groove and Bass CAN, and Wild Horses. Along these adventures, he has performed alongside scene heavyweights including Grouch, Electrypnose, Twisted Sibling, Pspiralife, Ryanosaurus, Sumiruna, Smilk, and Sensient.
