Cut to the chase...   Scissorkick was formed in 2011 by the like-minded friendship of Alex Nome(vocals) Travis Hein(guitar) Matt Oddleifson(guitar) Cam Jones(bass) and Eric Chisholm(drums). Residing in Kelowna BC, the band draws on an array of musical influences which culminates in their own brand of riff driven Rock and ear catching Pop. Taking the “Bro’s before Ho’s” approach, the band brings an attitude of being friends first and bandmates second, which translates well into their song writing and live performances. 
2012 will see the band taking over their own backyard, playing shows and events throughout the Okanagan and West coast. With a couple of demo’s already available for download (www.myspace.com/scissorkicknation), the band hopes to jump back into the studio and cut a bunch more tracks before releasing an EP later this year. But I digress, rock, paper, Scissorkick anyone??
