A Christmas 2018 single from Ted Drozdowski’s Scissormen

“My Christmas Wish” is the new single from Ted Drozdowski’s Scissormen, just in time for the 2018 holiday. There’s a radio-play-ready WAV file ready here for download , but a CD copy is available on request. 

“My Christmas Wish” was cut live on the floor at Mark Robinson’s Guido’s Studio South in Nashville. Ted, with bassist Sean Zywick and drummer Kyra Curenton, has recorded a down ‘n’ dirty old-school blues with nods to Lightnin’ Hopkins and Hound Dog Taylor—and a light-hearted twist to the lyrics.

“My Christmas Wish” is the first of three upcoming releases from Ted, who has taken Scissormen across the U.S. and to Europe for 13 lucky years, as the band has evolved from a two-piece Mississippi hill country tribute to a contemporary trio with deep roots. Next up for Ted: a new studio album at the end of January, to be followed by an acoustic EP later in the year. Stay tuned!
