@Scissorsisters  and @MNDR along with the rest of the world, were deeply affected by the PULSE nightclub shooting in Orlando, FL.

It wasn’t just an attack on the LGBTQ community, but on one of its sacred spaces: the dance floor. On the one-year anniversary of the shooting, the two artists are teaming up not just to ensure violence against the gay community is still part of the national dialog, but to take back the dance floor.

SWERLK celebrates individuality, diversity, freedom, and fierceness. Scissor Sisters and MNDR are donating 100% of record sales (and streams!) and encouraging donations to the Contigo Fund, which emerged from the Pulse tragedy and offers financial support to organizations working to heal, educate and empower LGBTQ and Latinx individuals, immigrants and people of color, as well as those working to end all forms of bigotry in Central Florida.

King of cool Felix Da Housecat collaborates with rising star Chris Trucher on his latest release ‘Thee Trk!’ for a storming debut on the Classic Music Company imprint. One of Chicago’s living legends of house music, Felix illustrates his unique school of thought when it comes to club tracks with this delightfully eccentric and frenzied cut, as he and Chris lay down relentless hi-hats and a heavy bassline, stitched together with the track’s unwavering groove. The spoken-word vocal adds to the quirkiness of the record, as it playfully tricks listeners, “that’s the track, goodnight…” before ramping it up again, “fooled ya’”. Woman of the moment Honey Dijon delivers her re-edit that retains the intensity of the original while smoothing it out to become a more refined dancefloor number.
