Alex Jones & Chris Spero, known to Hotflush followers as Dense & Pika, are entering the stage of another quality label – Hypercolour – with a 4-track Lynn EP, released at the end of this month.

UK’s techno duo delivers the familiar all-consuming monster vibe on the EP, which is the only way they seem to operate together. The track we’re proudly premiering today has the notes of 80′s mechanical sound, gently nods to Moderat’s “Bad Kingdom” and takes it further into the land of vintage synths, fog machine reverbs, and melodic industrial sounds.

Izanagi is an important god in Japanese mythology.
He is one of the creator gods and is considered the father of many other gods.
Together with his sister and wife Izanami, he created the islands of Japan and many gods. Izanagi is also known for his role in the birth of the sun goddess Amaterasu.
His story is closely tied to Japanese creation mythology.

Release Info: 
“Fosc” is a track that arises from my fascination for Bugge Wesseltoft’s music. I really like his compositional work; the way he inserts darkness with flashing lights and bittersweet notes, Bugge is able to touch your heart and soul. I caught that inspiration but bringing it to my own ground, a more Techno sound.
 
“Laberinto” is quite difficult to describe, it is a mishmash of influences in which everyone could perceive my sometimes passion for organic sounds. This cut was originally composed while improvising with the synthesizer and it is fully inspired by classic horror films.
 
Both are very different from each other, at the same time are tracks that complement each other very well. There is an important balance between layering synths with more acoustic sounds. I have tried to build on this EP a 'glue' to stick sounds and feelings together. “Fosc” and “Laberinto” are slow-cooked compositions, music pieces stimulated by a personal maturation and evolutionary growth as a producer given by years of experience.

PREMIERE: Ryan Dupree - Into The Light (Vamos Art Remix) [Grossstadtvögel]

Carbon is a DJ and producer based in Hamburg in Northern Germany whose releases are often played by some of the biggest names in the business. His sound is a very unique mix of techno with house-leaning percussion elements and evil synth sounds. It's that combination that makes both original tracks “Distant Rising” and “Loudest Places” the perfect additions to the Jannowitz family for this latest EP on the Hamburg-based label, entitled "Loudest Planet."

Remixing this EP are Whyt Noize, Touchtalk and Mycell & Christian Bonori.
