Unrilis is very excited to welcome for the first time Audio State and Filtrack as they make their debut EP ‘Duality’.

Straight Outta Romania, we have Audio State a DJ/Producer with the aim of pushing the boundries of Techno with his unique and versatile style which combines both melodic and hypnotic. He has a rich catalog since his start on 2019 as he has released on the likes of Legend, Unity Records, Infekted and Zafer Atabey’s EXTIMA.

On the other hand we have Filtrack who’s just kicking off his career this year with a much darker and groovier techno, His first track release was on Tronic and then he joined AnalyticTrail for his first solo EP.

Audio State “Overthinker came out from our idea to make a banging tool track, hence the really big low end and nasty percussions, but as the word suggests, we overthought the track a lot and transformed it into a more of a peak time track. The vocal that we've added, only adds up to the general idea and name of the track. Trip in Barcelona, as the name suggests, was made after Filtrack's vacation in Barcelona. He fell in love with that city, as it was his first time there. When he came back to Bucharest, he wanted to make something that would remind him of that sweaty weather and the beautiful trippy architecture. So he did a hypnotic & trippy polyrhythmic synth with a huge & sweaty low-end. That's how this track was made”.

Audio State “Collaborating together was really fun and inspiring because we are best friends and we had tons of ideas for the tracks, but everytime each one of us knew when to let go and when to say something, so i would say that the process of working together was really smooth. It's fantastic to see how 2 different points of view merge together into becoming a final product. We can't wait for our next EP together.”

Techno is all too often described as timeless but while most of it eventually evaporates into the ether, there are some riffs, melodies, and breakdowns that remain etched into our collective consciousness forever. Legendary Frankfurt label Harthouse is home to more than its fair share of such moments, but you have to go all the way back to 1992, the opening strains of the Metal Master classic ‘Spectrum’ to locate the source for this special single-sided remix release.
 
The common denominator and catalyst to all this is of course Sven Väth, co-creator of ‘Spectrum’ and founder of both Harthouse and Cocoon Recordings, while the independent variables in the equation are Bart Skils and Weska, who lend their considerable talent and vision to this sublime makeover.
 
Coming on like rolling thunder, sparks fly immediately as crackling vocoder licks, silky ride cymbals and soaring arpeggios build an atmosphere taut with anticipation before giving way to that iconic melody - a love letter from Frankfurt to Ibiza, wrought from metal, drenched in distortion yet pulling at the heartstrings - the perfect soundtrack to any chemical sunrise.
 
It‘s a powerful re-interpretation that pays the warmest respects to the original and, despite the relentless groove, there is still room for sentimentality - an invitation to momentarily pause for thought and reflect on the journey so far as the sumptuous breakdown washes over the dance-floor. But not for long, the simmering bass line soon emerges from the euphoria and the track kicks in again, driving us forward towards a new, uncharted spectrum of possibilities.

Rounding off March 2023 with a crowd banger, the german duo Zakari&Blange returns to AnalyticTrail with "Evil Dance" EP, a straight up Techno roller with bags of attitude.

Zakari&Blange, also known as Farid Zakari and Chris Blange, have mastered the art of techno, unleashing their allover technoid heartbeat straight out of the depths of the Black Forest.
Their catalog is full of successful releases on internationally respected labels such as Phobiq, Elevate, Loose Records and Funk'n Deep, receiving support from top-class acts like Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Luigi Madonna, Richie Hawtin, and Marco Bailey.

Zakari&Blange have crafted a three-track release that showcases their signature sound with razor-sharp precision. EP title track Evil Dance opens the EP with gated vocals, groovy rhythms and dark sounds. Rising Sync comes second and carries the same mood but with a harder kick. Spacegrinder closes the EP with a punishing momentum and fast paced percussive rhythms.

The three edits arrive on Capriati's own Redimension label, with an exclusive Mixmag premiere for 'Rilis 03 02'

'Rilis Classics (Joseph Capriati Reinterpretations)' is an especially sentimental release for the label head, whose original passion for techno was peaked by Cerrone in the early 2000s.

Joseph Capriati's edit will drop on April 27.

2021; a new year asks for new projects, challenges and enactment. Joran van Pol presents his new imprint: _ENACT.  

The first release coming up is ‘Obsidian’, like the volcanic glass, the track is rock solid techno. A  nearly 7-minute driving rush, minimalistic, repetitive yet explosive. 
Obsidian is the first of a trilogy, which will be completed during 2021. The artwork is made especially for this track by ‘dotting’ artist Srch_of.
 
About Joran van Pol: 
Techno DJ/producer Joran van Pol has a somewhat special story. His debut release ‘Untitled 2’  was signed to Richie Hawtin’s Minus, followed by Joran's seminal release 'Faded'. Where do you go from there? Well, with the ‘Implicit E.P.’ on Dubfire’s Sci+Tec, several releases on Joris  Voorn’s label Rejected, a remix, and full E.P. ’Immediate E.P.’ on Matador’s Rukus and a collab with Maksim Dark ‘Thrill’ on Senso Sounds. ‘Derelict’ on Second State was added in 2020.
