Legendary German techno duo Pan-Pot announce their brand-new project ‘FORTE’, a collection of ten singles. Each track presents individually, each telling their own unique story influenced by the duo’s ever-evolving sound over the years - something that has kept them perpetually current. The culmination also marks a milestone 20th anniversary for the duo, serving as a resounding reminder of why they have been at the forefront of the scene for over two decades.

’FORTE’ meaning strong, translates all the good and bad times we have had, in a way that reflects on our sound. It's a journey of reflection, reinvention, and inspiration from our travels around the world and the people we have met along the way. The tracks emulate the past, present, and future, in a range of styles, but most importantly they are all tracks which we love and enjoy playing. Following the success of the duo’s ‘Forte’ album earlier this year, Pan-Pot’s highly esteemed Second State label is thrilled to announce the release of the 13th edition of the ‘SUM’ various artist compilation. As a celebration of Techno music, this compilation showcases the genre’s finest, promising to leave a lasting impression on enthusiasts worldwide.

The tracklist, curated with precision, features a diverse range of artists, each contributing unique sounds that encapsulate the soul of techno music. The compilation initiates with the pulsating energy of “Warehouse Impulse” by Audio State, setting a high-octane tone from the outset. Ben Champell’s “Give Me That” follows, with its raw and powerful sound captivating listeners. The hypnotic journey continues with “Basic Instinct” by Bruce Zalcer, showcasing intricate melodies and driving rhythm. Chris Hirose & RNDTXTR collaborate on “Sits,” a track that fuses deep basslines with harsh percussion and pulsating synth stabs to create a mesmerising atmosphere.

The middle of the compilation is marked by the spell-casting sounds of “Keep Dancing” by Katnada, followed by “You Will Not Colonize” by Kmyle, which exemplifies the genre’s rebellious spirit. Kristian Heikkila’s “Craft,” M.F.S Observatory’s “Interstellar,” and Procombo’s “Freaks” each add a unique flavour to the compilation, pushing the boundaries of Techno. Ramon Tapia’s “DSP Engine” and Wigbert’s “Delayed” conclude the compilation emphatically with a duo of tracks that champion the true versatility of Techno as one of the world’s most celebrated musical concepts.

Each track on ‘SUM’ Vol. 13 highlights the distinctiveness of the artist’s sound while maintaining a cohesive flow. This release is a testament to the talent and creativity within the Techno genre alongside Pan-Pot’s top-tier label curation via Second State, ensuring a unique and immersive experience for all listeners.

Say What? 191 is the last release of another exciting year for the label and we wanted to close with a huge bang! Therefore we are happy to welcome Swedish techno producer MarAxe with a stellar EP called 'Pyramid'.

The title track starts off with MarAxe’s typical rolling, raw and unforgiving energy. Chords emerge from the deep and build up in perfect sync - a true testament to the power of raw techno in its purest form, a reminder of the genre’s origins and glimpse into the future.

'Subatomic' is next up on the release and doesn’t let the power fade away, weaving a narrative of dystopian futurism with driving rhtyhms, intricate synth patterns and undulating basslines just the way we like it.

'Larma' follows with an unrelenting onslaught of pounding kicks and hypnotic sequences mixed with an abrasive fusion of metallic clanks and surgings synths, pushing the boundaries of sonic intensity.

'Jura' is the last track of the EP and a declaration of techno’s unrelenting spirit and a praise to the power of raw and unfiltered sound with its hypnotic groove and rolling explosive energy.

Peer is the underground techno label from San Francisco creating the soundtrack for West Coast techno. The label has featured Drumcell, Uun, Secus, Annika Wolfe and more.

PEER009 sees the label head Max Gardner supply two original cuts along with a spicy remix from LA techno hero: Truncate.

Max has over a decade of releases under his belt for labels like Blank Code, Northern Parallels and Oktave. As a regular DJ around North America and Europe, he can be found sharing line-ups with Speedy J, Richie Hawtin, Oscar Mulero, Nina Kraviz and he's done b2b sets with well respected artists such as Drumcell, Henning Baer, Lindsey Herbert and more.

Truncate is a pioneering producer who calls Los Angeles home and has long been loved by the scene with his distinctive productions. The Truncate Records label head also runs WRKTRX, and lists releases on Sven Väth's Cocoon, Luke Slater's Mote-Evolver, Len Faki's Figure, Kr!z's Token and collaborations with James Ruskin on Blueprint, amongst many other high quality imprints.

Expect to hear raw, hypnotic jams with modular textures, jackin' beats with deep tones, and analogue elements...
