Polish-born, Berlin-based producer Pysh returns with a striking new release on Sincopat, distinct yet connected sonic statements that showcase his versatile approach to music. The EP also includes a timeless remix by Argentinian maestros Brigado Crew.

The EP opens with “Haunted”, featuring the haunting vocals of Anto9. This final cut dives into more emotional territory, where delicate textures and lyrical vulnerability meet a beautifully layered arrangement. It’s an evocative piece that lingers long after the last note fades.

Brigado Crew’s remix takes “Haunted” to the dancefloor, reimagining the track with a darker, more powerful edge. With driving grooves, tense atmospheres, and a peak-time energy, their reinterpretation transforms the original’s emotion into a dramatic club weapon.

Next comes “Apples & Berries”, a standout collaboration with Sincopat’s Big Kahuna, AFFKT.The track flows with warm harmonies, detailed sound design and an emotive structure that reveals the creative synergy between both artists. A deep and sophisticated jam that blurs the lines between introspection and movement.

In the wake of renewed activity on the
WASSERMANN front, Wolfgang Voigt’s legendary
fringe rave alter ego, we’re thrilled to introduce a
new generation of listeners to his game-changing
cut W.I.R. – the vocoder-fuelled banger was a
massive crossover hit in 2000, bringing the
idiosyncratic underground sounds emanating
from a young scene of Cologne producers and
DJs who rallied under the Kompakt banner to a
wider audience. It sounded like nothing else on
the dance floors at the time and paved Kompakt’s
way into the spotlight. First released on Voigt’s
experimental techno label Profan, the track hasn’t
lost a quota of its futuristic and fresh appeal to
this day – it’s every bit as timeless as the remixes
from German DJ icon SVEN VÄTH and Kompakt
power duo TOBIAS THOMAS & MICHAEL MAYER
which dropped shortly after the release of the
original. Find all of these plus a new FARBEN
REMIX of FACKELN IM STURM by Wolfgang Voigt
in one barnstorming package, remastered to
perfection and available as digital download for
the first time ever. Furthermore, an updated 2016
rework of W.I.R. will be released together with the
DJ KOZE remix of Wassermann's DIE
SCHALLPLATTE on a bonus 10" accompanying
the upcoming limited edition of TOTAL 16 - not to
be missed!


Im Zuge erneuter Aktivität an der WASSERMANNFront,
Wolfgang Voigts legendäres Alternativ-
Rave-Projekt, ist es an der Zeit, eine neue
Generation an Hörern mit seinem
bahnbrechenden Track W.I.R. vertraut zu machen
- der Vocoder-geschwängerte Schieber geriet
2000 zu einem massiven Crossover-Hit und
gewann neues Publikum für die
idiosynkratischen Underground-Klänge einer
jungen Kölner Szene an Produzenten und DJs,
die sich unter dem Kompakt-Banner
versammelten. Es klang wie nichts anderes auf
den damaligen Tanzfluren und bereitete
Kompakts Weg ins Rampenlicht vor.
Ursprünglich auf Voigts experimentellem
Technolabel Profan veröffentlicht, hat der Track
kein bisschen an Frische und futuristischer
Anziehungskraft verloren - er ist genauso zeitlos
wie die Remixe der deutschen DJ-Ikone SVEN
VÄTH und des Kompakt'schen Power-Duos
TOBIAS THOMAS & MICHAEL MEYER, welche
seinerzeit kurz nach dem Original veröffentlicht
wurden. Diese drei Zeitzeugen plus Wolfgang
Voigts brandneuem FARBEN REMIX des
Klassikers FACKELN IM STURM finden sich im
W.I.R. REMIXE Paket, neu gemastert und zum
allerersten Mal als digitaler Download verfügbar.
Desweiteren wird eine neue 2016er Fassung von
W.I.R. zusammen mit dem DJ KOZE Remix von
Wassermanns DIE SCHALLPLATTE auf einer

We wait three years for a new Dubfire release on his very own SCI+TEC label and then we are treated to two in quick succession. Having wowed us with the fire breathing "OCTVS" and surprised with the deep dubby textures of its B side "Debris", the boss returns with his latest offering, "Slowburn." 

Having visited opposing ends of the intensity spectrum on the previous release, with "Slowburn" Dubfire sits us right at the centre. As its name suggests, this is a creeper. With the strong bassline groove as its backbone, spooky melody and liquidy sounds, "Slowburn" flows effortlessly making it such an easy track to play. 

SCI+TEC has always been a platform for exciting new talent and on the flip of this release we feature Bryan Brack, whose first track for the label came out on the Formula 2 EP in the summer of 2011. He is one name to watch and his stripped, minimal rework of Dubfire's 2009 hit "Rabid" proves just why! Expect to hear more from the young man from Villa Tapia.
