SCI+TEC welcome French producer Timid Boy to the family with his first label outing, the 'Alert EP'.

Having plied his trade as resident DJ at Paris' famous REX Club, and critiqued many electronic artists and their music in his daytime job as a music journalist, Damien Almira aka Timid Boy, finally took the plunge and joined the the legion of the rated and reviewed back in 2009 as together with his great friend and fellow producer Acumen, he launched his own label Time Has Changed Records.

As the label grew from strength to strength so too did the support for Timid Boy's own releases and soon attention was being drawn and new music signed by many leading labels. Recommended by his fellow countryman Agoria as 'one to watch' back in 2012, Timid Boy has gone on to establish himself as one of the most sought after producers from his homeland.

Timid Boy's 'Alert EP' is a four track selection of strong, groove-heavy tracks that combine the sharpest tech beats with warmth, flow and fantastic vocal samples. An impressive SCI+TEC debut  from the Frenchman.

All tour dates were partnered with non-profit organisation Bridges for Music. The aim was to use music to break down socio-economic boundaries bringing people from different communities together . 'DE9 Fragments' is a series of fragmented audio edits based upon my live DJ set recordings. Each one will attempt to capture the feeling and direction of the night, giving those who were there a reminder of the events they experienced while giving those who were not present a fragmented distortion of what they missed.
