Our hearts sing as PURRFECTION unveils this sacred gift to progressive house lovers worldwide - the triumphant return of Boston-based artist Chris Micali with his celestial reworks of Forty Cats' "Flashback".

The original masterpiece by Forty Cats is a time capsule of pure progressive soul - those intoxicating pads and hypnotic groove transport us to sweaty sunrise sessions where time stood still and every beat was a heartbeat. It's that rare gem that captures the genre's spiritual essence.

Now Micali works his magic with not one, but two breathtaking interpretations. His Main Remix is a velvet hammer - vintage Micali at his finest, wrapping the original's emotional core in those signature melancholic arpeggios and driving basslines that defined an era. The Bouncy Dub Remix reveals his visionary side - same heart, fresh pulse, proving true progressive house is timeless.

Premiere: Forty Cats - Flashback (Chris Micali Remix) [Purrfection]

Felix E and Michael Ritter combine their skills on a standout new EP for INDISKRET BERLIN Records with remixes from Pajuh, Esin and Biesmans.

Ritter is a key player in Germany’s melodic techno scene who combines intricate rhythms with emotive melodies for a sound that’s both deep and dancefloor-ready, and Felix E drops high-energy and sleek productions blending groove, grit and forward-thinking sounds.

Tension is a perfect mood builder with atmospheric pads and wavy beats sweeping you up and encouraging you to get lost in the cosmic melodies. Release is a dubby cut with a moody lead synth that keeps you locked in for the ride as the bass wanders on. Revolte then shuts down with more driving drums and nimbler energy as more widescreen pads bring the soul up top.

First to remix is Pajuh who flips Tension into a deep cut with fizzing, pixelated chords spraying across the mix to dramatic effect. Esin then keeps things lush and dreamy with a zoned out and deep roller of a remix of Release, and then Revolte gets an upbeat and pumping house rework from Biesmans who brings bright pads and thumping kicks.

These are three sophisticated new sounds from Felix E & Michael Ritter.

The incredible Henry Saiz makes a welcome return to the label with a spectacular double header.

Just the mere mention of his name sends dance music fans into raptures. Henry Saiz is at the pinnacle of the scene; signed to everyone worth a damn, soundtracking festivals, clubs and beyond across the globe. Behind the scenes, as a radio presenter, director and label head at Natura Sonoris, he's hard at work: a real musical hero with a humble manner and Latin ease that fans are drawn to in their droves.

Opening with 'Redes', muted beats develop into multi-textured flavours that reveal Henry's kaleidoscopic sound to perfection. SCI+TEC further strengthen their European connection by welcoming a new Romanian - Spanish pairing in the form of A++ & Rosper. 

Now based in Amsterdam, Sugar Factory resident A++ has already seen his music supported by many of the scenes leading lights and signed to labels including KMS and Intacto. Valencia’s Rosper, a regular behind the decks of the city’s famous Barraca club, stormed the download charts with his very first release, on Stickrecordings. 

Together the pair bring us the 'Bombshell' Ep, a three track offering that showcases their dark, minimal movements to perfection. Leading the release is the bubbling title track with its roof-raising rises and thumping kick drum. 

A++ flies solo on 'V1olence' and delivers a menacing number that's powered by a throbbing cardiac beat and growling bassline. 

Back together on the final cut and the duo turn gangster with ‘M.obscene’. A housier vibe than the previous pair, A++ & Rosper finish on a high with shuffling snares and a feel-good flourish.

Schubert Has Fallen was first featured on SCI+TEC back in 2011 with his debut track ’Cubist’ opening the Formula 2 V/A. A year later he was back with his very own full release, the excellent ’Temporal’ Ep, and last year saw him complete an impressive trio with the release of the mighty ‚Gork’. 

’Re(Fire)’ is the latest offering from the Black Swan Recordings boss. A Tomorrowland highlight for label boss Dubfire, the title track is a powerful pace-setter with its throbbing bass and immersive rushes. ’Aligned’ presents a similar minimal make up. Bold drums and fluid sci-fi sounds create an electrifying suspense.

’Splinter’ is the perfect finalé. Its beatless soundtrack is the perfect intro or, as here, outro, enveloping the listener with its intense and yet soothing wall of sound.
