To coincide with Rupture releasing Uranus, here is my dirty Uranus that I could never quite make hit the mark to be in the Planets series. See also my track 'Venus' on my Dope Plates EP.
This one I thought was clever, I used sounds from E.T Boogie by Extra Ts and a vocal sample from ET. Also I used the Amen and Funky Nassau (or is it Gordon's War?) together with the tail of the horns on the kicks to kind of mirror each other.

About the release:

Deep Jungle finally makes its return from dormancy with the first in a series of vinyl releases that will be showcasing some of the 90's long lost treasures. This first release back sees two unreleased mid nineties gems from none other than the mighty Dillinja!! Both tracks are sourced from the original DAT tapes and they have been mastered by the grand master Simon @ The Exchange, a true mastering wizard and someone who has engineered some of the most respected releases to date.

The A side "Another Dimension", originally from 1994, shows us Dillinja's softer melodic side on the intro, before unleashing the Reese danger on the drop. This moody roller is perfect for those of you who have been craving some more of his 94 era productions, that really takes you on a journey straight back to that time...

It’s been a year since Nebula last landed on the mother label… and he doesn’t waste time in reconnecting, with the first track on the A side (Interconnections) an absolute darkside bomb - thunderous Amen, sub-low bass, pitch black atmospherics in check, taking no prisoners.

Detached From Reality continues, menacing and brooding in equal measure, with intricate drumwork showcasing Nebula’s Jedi skills.

The mood lightens on the B side, with Obliquity bringing the sweeping atmospherics to the fore alongside killer Apache science, while Virtual Oceans takes things ever deeper, drifting off into the outer reaches of the solar system.
