An exceedingly bright and cheerful piece: perhaps the most exuberant of my Preludes. There is energy aplenty with constant semiquavers in a presto tempo and with an unusual 15/16 time signature (giving 5 quick beats in a bar) and as the pianist's hands explore the whole range of the keyboard. I hope you will agree that there is also an elegance to the music as well.
