El 25 de mayo de 2020, tres agentes de la policía de Mineápolis, Minesota, EE.UU.,  torturaron y ejecutaron extrajudicialmente a un hombre afroamericano llamado George Floyd. En esa oportunidad, Tamika Danielle Mallory, una activista estadounidense, copresidenta de la Marcha de las Mujeres 2019, emitió un discurso acerca de la historia de la brutalidad policial, ejercida en EE.UU.,  sobre las personas afroamericanas. Este recordado y valiente discurso  de Tamika,  se viralizó en las redes sociales de todo el mundo. Sus palabras me tocaron fuerte,  a tal punto que me inspiraron para componer esta canción,  totalmente instrumental, a la que titulé “Levantamiento”. Está referida  a ese levantamiento social, que este desgraciado asesinato,  provocó  en el pueblo afroamericano de EE.UU., demandando justicia y fin de la brutalidad ejercida por la policía. Dedico también esta canción a todos los pueblos del mundo que alguna vez se levantaron o continúan  aún hoy  levantándose;  demandando no más violencia,  igualdad social, respeto a los derechos humanos, libertad y paz. Finalmente, aclaro, que esta canción de ninguna manera pretende ser  un llamado al “levantamiento” de los pueblos oprimidos, sino más bien,  sería como una especie de película que narra una historia basada en hechos reales, a fin de que el  conjunto de la sociedad tome conciencia de esa situación, reflexione y se active para que nunca más se repita. On May 25, 2020, three police officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, tortured and extrajudicially executed an Afro-American man named George Floyd. On that occasion, Tamika Danielle Mallory, an American activist, co-chair of the 2019 Women's March, gave a speech about the history of police brutality, exercised in the United States, against Afro-American people. This remembered and brave speech by Tamika went viral on social networks around the world. Her words touched me strongly, to the point that she inspired me to compose this song, totally instrumental, which I titled “Levantamiento”  (“Uprising”). She is referring to that social uprising that this unfortunate murder caused in the Afro-American people of the United States, demanding justice and an end to the brutality exercised by the police. I also dedicate this song to all the people of the world who have ever risen or continue to rise today; demanding no more violence, social equality, respect for human rights, freedom and peace. Finally, I clarify that this song is in no way intended to be a call for the “uprising” of oppressed peoples, but rather, it would be like a kind of film that tells a story based on real events, so that society as a whole become aware of that situation, reflect and activate so that it never happens again. Only now do I dare to publish it and share it with whoever wants to listen to it...

Scobra, b. Mark Scarboro in Heidelberg, Germany is an American producer and songwriter operating worldwide & based in the Arctic.
- Began career working under Robert “Bubba” Neligh of TCP Systems of San Angelo. TX designing large scale audio touring systems. Notable clients; INXS, U2, Sex Pistols, and a ton of Country acts.
- Touring guitarist in the supergroup CO Jones featuring members of the Sting, Pink Floyd, Duran Duran, James Brown, Goo Goo Dolls, Ben Harper, Dave Wakeling and others.
- Heavily involved in the LA underground hip hop scene working on thousands of tracks with hundreds of artists for years and years. Notable acts include Shapeshifters, Mascaria, Existereo, Awol One, OMD, Wu Tang Killa Beez, Black Knights, Candys 22, and Mickey Avalon.
- Worked extensively with NASA/JPL on a super wide range of productions involving the space program both in music production and sound design.
- Founding member of the group Dionvox.
- DIONVOX was formed in the Hollywood Hills during a Wu Tang Clan Killa Beez / Q Tip / Black Knights recording session. Nurtured for 2 years under manager Leila Steinberg (Tupac Shakur, Earl Sweatshirt) via her “Microphone Sessions” weekly workshop, Steinberg drilled the band, always stressing community involvement and artistic continuity with no slacking.
- Founding member of Deep Funk Cobra along with Sun Ra guitarist Wells Jones.
- Founded ALT/lab Las Vegas, an 8 studio/school complex that cranked out thousands of tracks with hundreds of artists for 7 years before moving the operation to the Arctic in June 2023. - -
