Wow! This was definitely a fresh take on the original! I definitely didn’t expect that when I first pressed play! I am really glad you took things in a completely fresh and creative direction as for me a remix should always improve or switch up the original. The soulful vibe created by the rhodes esque piano synth was great and really changed the feel of things. The melody for it was scored well and I liked how you were able to change the vibe of things through the use of melodies during different sections of the song. I felt the vocals of Mr Vegas actually worked surprisingly well here and the blend of these two main elements within your remix create a really cool sound. In some ways I preferred this to the original as it felt fresh and creative.

I enjoyed the subtle homages to the original through the use of vocal chops and fx I felt that this was a cool touch and kept some familiarity there whilst also filling out the frequency range of the track and ensuring things stayed interesting. Your mixdown and master could do with some adjustments as some areas felt slightly too distorted and some of your hihats were maybe taking up slightly too much space within the mix. However these were minor factors which didn’t have an overall impact on the track. Things were structured well which was important and I felt that this allowed for the track to progress along nicely.

You could've however really switched things up by introducing some new sounds within the track, possibly replacing the piano synth with a mid range synth or a more dominating bassline just to keep things really fresh and avoid any over repetitions. All in all however I felt that things worked well and this made for a refreshing alternative to the trap heavy original mix! Keep up the good work it would be great to hear you flipping more trap tracks into house records.
