Nice choice of track to remix. Colors is definitely one of the more interesting releases on Spinnin in recent months and there was definitely lots of elements which could be used for remixes which definitely got me curious to hear your take on things. I think you made the right choice going with a deep house feel as this meant things were definitely getting switched up compared to the original. The disco and funk elements within the track were really cool, almost like a Nile Rodgers/Daft Punk vibe. The way you used these elements from the start of the track was cool and I felt that they worked great alongside your chopped vocals to bring a lot of energy into the track before the introduction of the main vocals.

When the main section kicked in I felt that vocals worked great with the modulated bassline to create a really cool vibe within the track. Your drum programming worked well too and they definitely helped to keep the energetic feel of the track there. The way you changed the vibe up during the main breakdown was interesting and this created quite a cool effect although I was really enjoying the more upbeat disco feel you had going on earlier. Things progressed along well enough though. All in all as far as remixes go I think you did a really good job here. You switched up the direction of the track quite dramatically whilst still managing to give off a strong professional sound. Keep up the good work!
