This week is the Modern Blues preset band, and using the preset band's settings as we'll do each week, we have the Blues scales in E using a 12 bar progression.

The progression is "radio friendly," which means the backing band will move through different chords while staying in the same key and scale.

For the tenth week, and the return to the Rock category, the vote decided that the Psychedelic Rock band would be used. The scale is Harmonic Minor in E and the progression is "progressive," which means the backing band will move through different, appropriate keys and scales.

For the eleventh week, the forum members voted for the Electric Blues backing band. The key was changed to "G" as we had not played in G up to this point. The scale is Pentatonic Minor and the progression is "12 bar," which follows a standard 12 bar progression.
