Melvin Star Rice (born June 14, 1994) who is sometimes credited as Many Horses is a very first Native American Paranormal Investigator, Actor, and Television Personality. Melvin was born and raised in Prescott, AZ. He is the principal host of his independent YouTube series GhostLand Investigators. Melvin is the owner & founder of GhostLand Paranormal Investigators located in Prescott AZ. Melvin started GhostLand Paranormal Investigators smudging family’s homes in early 2018. Melvin Rice is a Yavapai Indigenous Investigator who is inspired from Ghost Adventures hosted by Zak Bagans, Ghost Hunters & Ghost Nation hosted by Jason Hewes, & Destination Fear hosted by Dakota Laden. Melvin just didn’t want to just smudge homes for GhostLand Paranormal Investors so on May 6th, 2019  something told Melvin to go and work at The Prescott and Conference Center in Prescott, AZ. When hired Melvin met Chenoa Durden when working. Melvin and Chenoa became best friends head on. Then in sometime around June Melvin then continuously bugged Chenoa about Paranormal field and also mentioned he wanted to do ghost hunting. Chenoa then told Melvin to go head and do it, but something told Melvin that Chenoa use to ghost hunt in the past so Melvin continued to bug Chenoa about paranormal until May 7th, 2020. Melvin Rice started to go downhill when around time the COVID Pandemic outbreak hit on May 7th around 2:45 AM Melvin Rice’s Father “Ted Gustavo Rice” passed away” in his home. After Melvin buried his father on March 12th, 2020 he started to go downhill and started to be in his deepest depression stage to the point where Melvin didn’t want to leave his house.  When Chenoa noticed Melvin’s depression he was in she went to his house and told Melvin “To get out of this slump go ahead and get a camcorder and everything I do I’ll do for free. Plus being part owner for free.” So, Melvin and Chenoa got their money together and got GhostLand Paranormal Investigators off the ground. Then to team started to investigate Angelina Grave – Prescott AZ, Old HWY 89A – Prescott, AZ, The Grand Hotel – Jerome, AZ, Long Horn Saloon – Williams, AZ, Hotel Monte Vista – Flagstaff, AZ, Museum of Indigenous People – Prescott, AZ.
