Much of my sonic idea of a "new soundscape" has been significantly influenced by our move to a more countrified location in Upstate New York, where we are constantly hearing birds, tree frogs, crickets and other insects, a sound environment made possible by our new closeness to nature.

The Light Collapses Upon Her Shadow

Recorded this track live earlier today (May 29th, 2023) in order to test out a recently arrived Possum Trident oscillator and a Synth Tech Hyperion EFX module.  I was happy enough with the results to think it worth posting here.  Other modules were involved to tickle the oscillator, but it's the source sound and it's being pushed through the Hyperion and the a TipTop EFX unit Valhalla reverb before going directly into a portable Tascam audio recorder.  I had a lot of fun twiddling the knobs while recording.
