The confusion is intentional.

Had a strange dream about beige and chalk white, webbed trunks of bark covered in muted yet colourful mushrooms/fungi, and (wolf) spiders; falling onto me in an unnervingly peaceful, late-spring, garden setting. This was inspired by the things I felt. A sort of reverse synesthesia of a fleeting memory in my subconscious and prior emotive state.

Another memory this track brought up for me was this sci-fi animated cartoon I had on CD as a child about a little alien whale called Mumu. The soundtrack for it is so nostalgic for me and this track captures it rather well.

The title also includes (09) as an ode to the Roland TR-909 that inspired the drum beat.
