Bloodspill - Single

“Six Feet Under” is part of a story that is told through all the tracks on our upcoming EP titled “Bloodspill”. The protagonist has captured his enemy, the oppressive boss from his job. He promises him that for everything he has gone through in his monotonous and pushy job, he will torture and bury him six feet under the ground. So the track begins with a heavy sound and a fast pace. But as time passes the anger starts to turn into paranoia and leads into the song’s bizarre and paranoid outro to transition into “Bloodspill””.

In a world surrendered over to decadence and greed (Descension), the protagonist of our story is surrounded by people hiding behind masks, trapped in a false reality (Origins). Stranded in this theatrical society, he sinks deeper and deeper into routine and resentment (Groundhog Day). When he reaches his limits, he kidnaps his boss, the enemy who symbolizes the flimsy reality the hero experiences in his world, and vows to eliminate him once and for all (Six feet under). From this point, the last act of the drama begins. The protagonist has lost all sense of self and, surrendering to the paranoia of his reality, tortures his enemy to death. The story ends with the suicide of the hero of the story, in an act of despair, redemption and atonement in this dark journey (Bloodspill). 

Descension

Scorched Earth is a metal band based in Patras, Greece, that made its first steps in the local music scene in 2023. Rooted in groove and heavy metal, they aim to create a sound that is both dynamic and atmospheric.

Inspired by a wide range of influences-from classic 80s heavy metal to more modern death, groove and progressive metal-their music combines powerful riffs, intense rhythms and vocals with screams in a style that is uniquely their own.

Having shared the stage with bands like Mortal Torment, Anorimoi and Scanner, Scorched Earth, with an expanding fan base and an unwavering commitment to growth, are cementing their presence in the modern metal landscape-strong, unbridled and ready to make an impact.

After the recent release of their single named Six Feet Under, they are determined to excite and thrill the heavy metal audience with their upcoming EP titled Bloodspill.
