'Aviario' is a collaborative EP by Ecuadorian electronic music producers Entrañas and Ene Ese, alongside visual artist Destello. The release coalesces the unique sonic palette, textures and rhythms of Ecuadorian music with the darkness of Club and Bass music. Taking influence from bird species inhabiting the diverse ecosystems of Ecuador, Entrañas and Ene Ese seamlessly transmute delicately layered soundscapes and birdsong into cutting drum patterns, creating invigorating compositions that spotlight the rich musical heritage of Ecuador and its natural environment.

'Aviario' ranges sonically from moments of ambient textural exploration in 'Trogón', to dance floor ready tracks such as the single 'Huiracchuro' where overdriven melodies weave between sultry drums making heavy use of 6/8 polyrhythms found in Ecuadorian genres such as Albazo and Bomba. The third track 'Curiquingüe' features additional composition from producer Zunfo.

The EP is accompanied by six corresponding artworks by Destello, who reimagines the colours and forms of the birds into candescent abstractions.

The latest instalment on @kaizenltd pays homage to '90s rave, UKG and breakbeat capturing the euphoria of the dancefloor, @debbauk's three-track heater, 'Just Wanna’.

Debba’s distinctive vocal chops are the dulcet tones of a rave-angel repeatedly singing "just wanna" on a skippy garage beat, cut up by a hypnotic, shimmering breakdown and the percussive pressure of post-dubstep.

Desde +ambien cerramos el año con un sencillo doble, “Chimborazo/Resbala” resultado de la colaboración de dos nombres que no dejan de sorprender por su versatilidad musical y capacidad de propuesta rítmica inigualable. Ellos son Entrañas, desde Quito, y Selvagia, de Lima.

En este corto pero potente lanzamiento, los productores comparten múltiples versiones rítmicas, jugando con tiempos a dos velocidades, sobre arreglos musicales grabados de instrumentos de cuerdas. Combinando texturas gelatinosas y burbujeantes con modulaciones en sus texturas, y logrando patrones sincopados y galopantes, y resultando en descargas rítmicas impresionantes.

Desde +ambien creemos que este EP, en sus dos temas; logra visualizar características particulares de cada uno de los productores. Our protégé Entrañas, one of Ecuador's up-and-coming artists, returns home with his first solo EP. ‘Yapa’ is an exploration of the frontiers of global club music, blending unique Latin American rhythms and flavours with classic electronic music sounds. Drawing from Ecuador’s rich cultural heritage, these three tracks provide the closest approximation to what we might call Latin Bass.

The remixes add a sharp and multifaceted energy that will resonate both in and out of the club. First, upsammy delivers her purest version in the territory (80 — 90 bpm) that has established her as one of the finest DJs and producers of the moment. Additionally, we decided to feature two of our favourite techno acts of the moment, Fireground and 1morning, who deliver exhilarating, hard-groove reminiscent breakneck reinterpretations of good late 90s — early 2000s iconic sound.
