AC Slater and Jack Beats are 2 names that have been synonymous with many niche genres over the years - blog house, fidget house and bass house. They’ve been touring and working together since the seminal Jack Beats remix of AC Slater’s “Jack Got Jacked”, way back in 2008. It’s been 17 years since that pivotal remix that brought them together, and we’ve finally got their first official collaboration in the form of “Healing” featuring vocalist Kate Wild. 

“Healing” pulls together influences from the genres that AC Slater & Jack Beats have been associated with over the past 2 decades, finished in a warm and fuzzy nostalgic glow. Kate Wild’s vocals, both powerful and vulnerable, take the song to another level. “Healing” manages to capture the essence of living in the moment, welcoming the vibes and giving it your all on the dance floor.

  I had this idea as kind of a meme and the tempo worked out to sit more in dubstep and besides, when you're sampling Stone Cold Steve Austin, you better go HARD.  Anyways, this is extremely heavy, but it's so sick hahah. Enjoy!

I've been obsessively listening to Fire this last few months and I just wanted to give it a house spin in case I wanted to throw a different version in my sets, so here you guys go! (Disclaimer: I didn't even remotely try to recreate LYNY's synths, I'll leave those to the master.)
