Shapeshifting between funky, mysterious, pensive, and compelling, Abendrot is an assertion of personal eclecticism, a nod to the Argentine producer’s Berlin base, and Ulises’ second EP on Scorpios Music. Peppered with Latin-inspired percussion and ethereal synths, Abendrot is the soundtrack to an afterglow state — or a “farewell to the sun until the next dawn” as he puts it — spent wandering a phantasmagoric desert landscape embellished with the shapes and colours of a Dalí or Gaudí sketchbook.

“It’s Time” is a downtempo acknowledgment of the little voice inside us all that encourages us to finish something or start something new. Whether understood individually or collectively, the message behind the E.P.'s lead track speaks to a wide audience, transgressing borders, time and space much like the music itself.

Papfay is a young French producer of 26 years. At a very young age he became a fan of electronic music.
Influenced by names like Joachim Pastor, Paul Kalkbrenner and many others, at the age of 20 he started his musical journey into music production. Self-taught, Papfay finally entered the world of music by signing with Trndmsk, Cafe de Anatolia, Lump record, Kosa music and now Ohxala Records.
In Sefer, Papfay takes us on a journey fusing his lunar melodies and organic touches with powerful baselines and stompy beats. Mixing downtempo and deep house, Sefer will transport you into his galactic universe.

"La Luna" blends ethereal synths, ritual drumming and the signature vocals of Temple Haze to call on the power of the celestial.
