The past 18 months (since the last time I posted my Fusion recording) have been truly memorable for me, with many unforgettable experiences all over the world, new places, new friends and above all some amazing support along the way. I am grateful to have this opportunity to travel around the world to stages where I can expose my music. 

One of the key moments came back on April 1st when I closed DGTL Amsterdam’s Frequency Stage. I was exhilarated throughout, and I felt that I achieved a very strong connection with the people that were there that day. So much, so that I decided to go back to my studio to record the set again, so that I could share it with everyone once more here. Thank you to everyone that let this set come alive. Headwaters is an electronic music collobration consists of two individuals, Engin Ozbatir and Onur Okutan.

In 2010, Engin, whose interest in electronic music has dramatically increased by means of the decisive influence of numerous local and foreign musicians that he has listened at “1888-Nightclub” in Izmir, has started his career at the relevant club as Resident DJ

Onur has started his perfoming career via playing electro guitar at his early ages and carried on his passion by composing his own songs.
Throughout his bachelor degree he had the chance to improve his competency on playing numerous instruments including but not limited to piano, violoncello and trumpet.

In recent years, as he has moved his productivity to electronic music, by the inspiration drawn from the infinity of the sounds used during production process, he decided to have his master degree on sound engineering.

Consequently, Headwaters has existed via combination of music knowledge and instrument skills of Onur and wide electronic music experience of Engin.

Dutch champion of organic, deep and melodic sounds, performed live from our favorite hideout: The Loft during our Sunset Charity concerts. 

The fundraiser is aimed towards gathering donations for the WHO's 𝐶𝑂𝑉𝐼𝐷-19 𝑆𝑜𝑙𝑖𝑑𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑅𝑒𝑠𝑝𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑒 and assist their strenuous work in combatting the coronavirus.

I just returned from the magical Bonjuk Bay. This place is something else. The nature, the people, the love. So much beauty. It felt like returning to the essence of life. 

There were many magical moments but this sunset set is something I will never forget. Standing in-between the palm trees, looking at all these beautiful people dancing, celebrating the last moments of sunshine before we fade into the night.

My heart is filled with gratitude.
