U (I Got A Feeling) (De Zenk Remix)

South Coast UK legend and CONTACT and HANDS ON RECORDS founder Matt Handy lands on the label with a tune he made over 14 years ago which was only ever played in his own sets and by a few other select DJs. 'Something I Feel' takes the iconic vocal samples from a release from 1990 and blends them into a techno infused Hard Trance monster with a bit of a dark driving yet somehow uplifting feel.

To begin the track drops down with a warm deep analog bassline with effective use of the vocals and a faded bell sound sampled from an early Canadian techno release from 1992. Kicking in with crisp beats, percussion and a subtle scratch sample recorded live, it builds with snippets of the vocals and warm bass key changes. The intensity heightens and the breakdown is where things go up a notch with huge horn sounding stabs and staggered percussive kicks taking the track on a slightly different twist as the vocals rise up again before dropping back into a head stomping groove.

Reminiscent of the older styles of hard trance and techno it's definitely a tune you need to hear on a big sound system. It sounds massive and has got a great response when played at events and festivals. It was also supported by Mark EG, Proteus, Yoji Biomehanika, Sol Ray and others with many more DJs asking for a copy. Fresh support by Public Domain, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Baby Doc, DJ Brisk, Cally, Hidden Identity, Oliver Cattley, Mindflux, Irish Pete and more. 

With a DJ and music career spanning three decades Matt is no stranger to all types of electronic music. Having notched up 1000's of gigs in the UK, Europe and further overseas. He has played at most of London's top clubs back in the halcyon days and worked alongside 100's of top artists and DJs. Had over 1 million listens to his regular live streams online, airs on various radio stations and has one of the most impressive vinyl collections.

Scot Project is a fairly well-known DJ/producer from Germany, Basically the „King of Hardtrance“, whose initial success came in 1996 with the hit single "U (I Got a Feeling)“, which was recently Re-released and for Weeks in the Top 20 Techno Charts . He manifested his signature sound in the 00´s with tracks like „O (overdrive)“ or „L (Want Your Love) . 

Born Frank Zenker  is a man of many aliases, such as „Arome“, „Tocs“, „Supermusique!“, „De Zenk“ and "Scotech.   He also has a Collaboration with Scottish Dj Mark Sherry as „GENTECH“ . A good portion of his Tracks were released on German hard trance label Overdose until 2005. After he released on his own Label Druck Records and various Labels such like Positiva,Armada, Spinnin, Vandit, Outburst. 

As a Dj he travels around the globe and performed at all major  festivals worldwide such as EDC, Sensation Black, Defqon1, Dance Valley, Trance Energy, Mysteryland, Tomorrowland , Global Gathering, Love Parade, Street Parade, Homelands, Luminosity and the most high profiled clubs in the world.

Scot Project is using a lot of Elements in his productions and Dj Sets, from Trance, Techno to Harder Styles. He doesn’t like boundaries and is constantly evolving with his sound.The story continues. https://www.scotproject.eu
