To celebrate both Kriess’s 25th anniversary of his journey in DJ’ing and his latest release on Outburst, ‘In The Place’, he has put together this special showcase mix for us.

As you may have noticed from his productions over the years, the spirit of the early rave days still resonates strongly with him, an era when dance music had less rules and genres didn’t have such a hold on the DJ scene.

Also in the past few years it’s been clear that the sounds of techno and trance have been coming back closer together once again. Kriess has taken this and incorporated his love for both genres into creating his energetic style, which can switch from one to another, to tell a story and to keep the listener guessing.

In this mix you’ll find a selection of Kriess’s favourite productions of his, from his Prodigy reworks to his releases on a variety of the scenes leading labels, including plenty of his Outburst output. Alongside them you’ll hear an assortment of techno and tech trance, all tracks that fit within his current sound, plus some classics that are dear to him to close out with.

Another edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is just around the corner, and this year marks its 30th anniversary. As always, Chrom Recordings is ready to celebrate in style with their annual ADE Sampler and a 2-day label showcase happening on Friday and Saturday. Our ADE Chrom Sampler features 10 carefully curated tracks, reflecting the diverse sounds of Progressive House, Indie Dance, and Melodic House & Techno. The Compilation opens with 2 recent Chrom anthems: Horizon, taken from the #100-album by our own label manager Pedro Mercado alongside Karada, followed by our latest single Missing, the iconic 90s classic from Everything But The Girl covered by Yves Eaux feat. Gregory Douglass. The remaining 8 tracks are brand-new and exclusive to this release. Half of them are contributions from trusted Chrom regulars: Fernando Lagreca, DJ Andy de Gage, Paul Sawyer and Daniel Vilchez. The other half is coming from artists who are new to our label: JP Lantieri from France, VUH from Mexico, GELIMA from Thailand and Juwlz from Belgium. We hope you enjoy this years selection! Scot Project is a fairly well-known DJ/producer from Germany, Basically the „King of Hardtrance“, whose initial success came in 1996 with the hit single "U (I Got a Feeling)“, which was recently Re-released and for Weeks in the Top 20 Techno Charts . He manifested his signature sound in the 00´s with tracks like „O (overdrive)“ or „L (Want Your Love) . 

Born Frank Zenker  is a man of many aliases, such as „Arome“, „Tocs“, „Supermusique!“, „De Zenk“ and "Scotech.   He also has a Collaboration with Scottish Dj Mark Sherry as „GENTECH“ . A good portion of his Tracks were released on German hard trance label Overdose until 2005. After he released on his own Label Druck Records and various Labels such like Positiva,Armada, Spinnin, Vandit, Outburst. 

As a Dj he travels around the globe and performed at all major  festivals worldwide such as EDC, Sensation Black, Defqon1, Dance Valley, Trance Energy, Mysteryland, Tomorrowland , Global Gathering, Love Parade, Street Parade, Homelands, Luminosity and the most high profiled clubs in the world.

Scot Project is using a lot of Elements in his productions and Dj Sets, from Trance, Techno to Harder Styles. He doesn’t like boundaries and is constantly evolving with his sound.The story continues. https://www.scotproject.eu
