Before and after of a pop/rock mix in the vein of Green Day.  

The "before" is the rough mix without any processing sent by the artist.  The "after" is the mixed and mastered version.

The peak volumes are matched.  You will notice a difference in overall loudness as the "after" version has compression and limiting through the mixing and mastering process.

This song is called "Nightmare" by The Ricky Fitts -- a cool, up-and-coming band out of Phoenix, Arizona.  This song is off their debut album called "The Great Beyond."  

They tracked this song and the rest of their album at home using budget equipment.  More proof that you can get a professional sound without breaking the bank on the recording!
