This music does not come from my mother tongue or culture, it was made in appreciation of Indian Hindi culture, whose spiritual and societal foundation resides with the deep and multilayered practice of singing mantra praises to their gods.

This song is the first of a series of songs in honor and reverence of life. It came through to me in music first, and then in Spanish words. This life is so precious. Each moment a gift. My teachers are all around - the colors, the flavors, the trees and flowers. This song a deep bow to the beauty and miracle of ordinary life surrounding me.

A Medicine Wheel is an instrument of understanding and navigating the cycles of time. Within the Wheel is a representation of the interconnectedness of humans and nature; the microcosm and macrocosm, as cycles and spirals of energy through time. It is a physical embodiment of our spiritual energy; an outward expression of our internal relationship with the Spirit of  all existence.
