After a 3 year hiatus  from releasing music, Melbourne based singer songwriter Scott Candlish returns with a new  introspective new offering titled Forever In The Dark.

Set for worldwide release on Friday the 16th of September 2022, Forever In The Dark recalls Scott’s emotional journey of discovery from social anxieties, exacerbated by the impact of consistent lockdowns over the past 2 years. Utilising a blend of indie folk and alternative rock elements, Candlish continues to develop his unique harmonies and finger style merging with a full band, providing a base for his effortless vocals to glide over. 

 Returning to the stage at the start of the year with great hunger, Candlish made the most of his time playing headline shows with the band at the Retreat Hotel, The Wesley Anne and, more recently, an intamate show at the Gasometer Hotel. Now with great plans and high hopes, Candlish has his eyes set on a big 12 months with a stream of new music and a brand new full-length record on the horizon.

Forever In The Dark

Following the release of his recent track Forever in the Dark, the reflective new piece further explores deeper and darker moments of vulnerability experienced over the last two years. The single represents times of helplessness and a desperate need to communicate these feelings without becoming a burden.
