I definitely had to include this song on my cover album. An all-time classic written by Ben. E. King - this song has withstood the test of time and has been recorded by over 700 artists. When Mr. King passed away in April 2015 he was survived by his wife of 51 years. I wonder how many times he thought of her when he was performing this song - ‘cause to the very end he stood by her and she stood by him.

Somethin' in a Bottle

This song came to me all at once while noodling on a guitar in the dining parlor at Andrew's house. Everyone else was in the kitchen peeling potatoes and chopping string beans at the time.  None of them  wanted to hear this.
