For nearly nine months I’ve been staying inside
Living on Zoom calls so I can provide
Putting on weight like a pig to the slaughter
Hating on the president, his sons and his daughters

Yeah, one of these days I’ll get my shit together
Hop back on the Peloton, start to feel better
The thing about it is folks are dumber than ever
Believing almost anything that pops up on Twitter

How’m I sposed to care about myself when the world’s gone mad
How’m I sposed to act beyond angry and dull and sad
How we sposed to live in a world that just makes no sense

Still Feeling My Drinks

I was in a couple half-assed bands in high school and college. I sang, albeit not all that well. Didn't really know how to play anything, but I could write a lyric or two, had "good ears." When the pandemic hit I decided to learn how to play, write, record, and produce. This is it. I'm learning.
