Fortunately, there was a hot dixieland group gracing a nearby club with their presence and tunes when Mr. 'box-20 happened by....And the rest, as they say, is liner note history.

John Deacon recalls,

"It was just Freddie and me in the studio, that day. Something came up, and we had to give that one a go RIGHT THEN, 
Brian/Roger present or no. [...] Anyway, Trident double-booked us with a Trad Jazz group, and we all bravely 
had to make the best of it.
This resulting take is really almost too special to enter into the Queen catalogue, so it remains unreleased.
The 'trading-fours' bit in the middle happened quite by accident. Those weren't even members of the other group,
just a lingering clarinetist and trombone player each running through licks down a long hallway outside the studio. 
I don't remember if it was me or Freddie who urged the engineer to hang a microphone out the door and grab some of that, but suffice to say, everyone got what they wanted that day....besides a whole lot more!"
