Each of us has somebody up there whom we miss...

Not everyone is worth missing, but missing someone is hard for all. I miss you.
To make the pain lighter, one should learn from childhood to value everyone in their life to the fullest.
We indeed miss the most those we too often take for granted. At least I do.
Everyone is missing someone they somehow thought would never go away, or at least not so soon.
Experiencing the hurt, the loss is also a stroke of luck. Because it means I loved you.
Find the hope to see you again and the courage to keep memories present.

Cross The Line - remaster 2025

An upbeat (:34), bopping indie soft-pop tune with a fun saxophone line (1:27, 2:42). The celebratory tone contrasts the story (about passive negligence from a partner with deeper needs).

The song started with a drumline, matched surprisingly with a piano walk-down line on top. I added a vintage rubber-bridge acoustic guitar for texture, a punchy Jazz bass, and we had a song on our hands. Good for a summer groove while driving, maybe a little jaunty dance, who knows!

In this track in my series inspired by the journey of the Fool in the Tarot deck, The Emperor describes the profoundly deep and vital relationship between the ruler of day, the male principle,  and the ruler of night, the female principle, i.o.w. the harmony of the creator with the creatrix that the whole creation depends upon.

What's more important: empathy or the cash? "North Dallas Blues" is a modern-day blues, a unique fusion of elegant chamber pop and raw, narrative hip-hop that explores the universal choice between survival and the soul.

This song was born from a place of deep respect. It was inspired by the powerful story and authentic voice of the incredible North Dallas artist, Kartel Don. We see this as an artistic dialogue, an attempt to bridge two different worlds with one shared human story.

This is a DEMO VERSION. A work in progress. As we develop this track, we'd love to build it with our community. Let us know what you think in the comments. What does this song make you feel? Your feedback is a crucial part of this creative process.
