You can call me Scott...

I'm not Skrillex (he's Dubstep genius. I'm not.)
I'm not DJ Riddler (he's a Filipino-American media master. I'm not)

To even call me a DeeJay, DJ, DJay...whatever...is kind of a stretch. I have spun in a club-like setting. But it was 20 years ago and it was a 400 sq. foot male strip club. Train-wreck beat-mixes were covered by my silky smooth introductions of "Please welcome to the stage, Zeus."  It's like calling a candy-striper, Doctor.

So in 2002, I got some software (read: pirated), made a few CD's for friends and went by "e-DJ Riddler" ("e" for electronic and to distance myself from DJ Riddler. I remained a House e-DJ (my house, mainly) making mix CD's for friends and for after-hours parties. Kinda freaked me out when word got back to me that Barry Harris of [defunct] Thunderpuss fame enjoyed and spun my mash-up of his "I Got My Pride" vs. Clivillis & Cole's "Pride: A Deeper Love". It's my claim to fame: Let me gloat....there...I feel better.

So gave up the game in order to refocus my life and with it went all desire for mixing music. It wasn't until early 2012 when I found the first CD I made that I returned, albeit in minimal capacity.

I dropped the "e" and the Riddler and launched DJ Skah-Tee for about 20 minutes.

These stage names aren't me. Scriddle@hotmail.com has been my e-mail address for almost 10 years so scriddle I became. 

It's just me. It's just me mixing together music I like, I love or that I feel needs a new direction. I don't read sheet music and if it's not in 4-4 time, I don't know what to do with it. 

Am I a DJ? I don't get paid. I have no gigs lined up. I don't have one, much less TWO turntables NOR do I even own a microphone. I gave up searching for a clever, original name. I have no label deal and most of my SoundCloud followers either hit the wrong button or are stalking me to sell their goods. It's cool though. If you like what I put together, share it. I don't own, claim to own it, or want to own it. It's music. It moves me. Let it move you.

In the immortal words of Mick Jagger, "Hey, you, get offa my cloud"
