Footprints On Venus

Talking my Dad (who is 96) some years ago and offering my condolences upon finding out he had just lost one of his cherished longtime friends, all he said was "They're all gone now." I was reminded of this recently while staying with him while Mom (now 92) was recovering in the hospital. I wrote this song during a quiet moment while he was sleeping.
