Day of Reckoning

Giving birth in this dust covered hell. Will he make it? Too soon to tell. Suckling from the tit of an AK-47.  The gentle touch of hot steel is what he calls heaven. Oh my God what have we done? Can't believe what I've become.  Oh My God What Have I Be Come? A child looking into the mirror. A blood thirsty murderer stares back. Cold blooded innocence.  What lies beyond the mirror? The sound of rusted swings creak through the air. A place once filled with joy now left ugly and bare. No time for play while you search for your next meal. Tear ducts as dry as bone. You've got no time to feel. Oh my God what have we done? Can't believe what I've become.  Oh My God What Have I Be Come? A child looking into the mirror. A blood thirsty murderer stares back. Cold blooded innocence.  What lies beyond the mirror? At the heart of a boy lies the soul of a man. A youth vibrance, but cold and weathered hands. Spoon fed a steady diet of gun powder and brass. Truly loves the sweet smell of mustard gas.

Deep in the forest marching on through the snow
I start to wince as the cold the wind blows
The smell of burning evergreen in the air
I don't know how much more of this I can bare
The orange glow of fire cuts through the night
I hear it crackle with the promise of life
As I approach this cottage it becomes clear
Something sinister awaits for me here.

The cottage turns, for the chant has been said
Watch your tongue or she'll rip it from your head
The stench unbearable as I step inside
Layed out atop the stove, the witch does not hide
She seeks to swallow up my body and soul
I only wish to make it out of here whole
A skull of fire will light my way home
My mother's blessing makes sure I'm not alone

Baba Yaga

Nothing but a slave to the old ball n chain, but I find solace in the life that I live up on the stage. 
Start to lose my will. Another handful of pills. My body starts to quiver and shake as I begin to fall ill. 
Just one more statistic for you to claim.

Another album sold. Another year on the road. But what’s it matter if my life is always bitter and cold. 
This is the end of my pain and suffering but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I’d do it all again.
