Modular Feedback

These two pieces were composed solely with the MakeNoise Shared System, without any effects or post production. These pieces started out as an experiment with feedback by sending the feedback out of the Echophone to the in on the Phonogene (set to broken echo mode) and then sending the out of the Phonogene back into the feedback input on the Echophone. The main tonal difference between the first and second piece was created by changing the rise and fall rates on the Maths. With the long times on the first piece you get some really nice drones and with the faster rates on the second piece you end up with pulsating textures that go in and out of the drones created by the feedback.
