Some of you might know the Hamburg-based producer as one half of Adana Twins. Still, since last year Ben Evers also began to set sails on a solo journey thus giving us »The Feeling«, a captivating and hypnotizing tune that's got all it takes to become a big one in any big (and small) room. Nicely built around a little vocal sample it sucks you deep into Ben's wonderful wide world of sound.
»Get To Me« is done similarly: Ben takes another fine vocal snippet and puts it on top of a fast percussive beat, adds some dreamy synths as the icing on the cake, and manages to create another peak time tune that'll set the roof on fire big time.

J. Peacock is back for his Summer take over! Good times and Happiness all over this cool funky release with three new jams and an excellent Laurence Guy remix as the cherry on the cake!

The opener “Found Her” is another loopy dance floor burner a la Peacock, a tune ready for the main room. An old northern soul sample, surrounded by some classic house percussion that eventually cuts into a driving jupiter-8 bassline. J. Peacock sees this one as a sequel to his previous release ‘Can’t Find Her’.

Next is the RnB friendly deep house cut “Hold On Till Dawn”, perfect for your sunrise set! The percussion in this tune is heavily inspired by UK garage, blending that sound with house always works so well. Lush and deep emotional pads and keys on an eased out beat foundation, how much more summer can you pack in a tune?

A perfect “b-side” roller that pumps on any sound system is “No Tears Now”. Inspired by the sounds of Daphni, those analogue synth stabs and breaks really balance out this EP. And those disco string samples really carry this one through, that Peacock style again!

To top things off J. Peacock asked his good pal Laurence Guy to grace us with a class remix like only he can. Speeding up the pace and transforming the original into a true gem of a track. A deep rolling groove that works its way towards an irresistible ending, it could go on forever as far as we are concerned! Pretty sure you will hear this one a lot this holiday season together with the dope originals.

6 hours of pure bliss. We went in a lot of directions, with my dear @holoofficial! This one was really about fun and being careful of what was happening in the room, following the energy, the crowd, on the loud and massive sound system of Wintergarten, with hundreds of souls dancing and smiling around us, from the beginning till the end.

Premiere: Kreggo 'Bass Finger Villain' (Hodge Remix)

After exploring talents in Europe, Mister T. records is returning with a blend of balearic and progressive house EP by Mahkina, formerly know as Alex Aguayo, from Mexico.

Mister T. records is extremely proud to unveil Alex Aguayo’s first release with his new alias Mahkina. Active for more than 7 years on the indie and electronic scene as Alex Aguayo, the Mexican DJ and producer is now introducing his new house / progressive project. “Sale Por El Corazon” stands as a clear definition of Mahkina : a tribute to the digital retro sounds and a hot touch of tropical/salsa style rhythms.

The four track EP opens with “Attraction Gravitionelle”, a clear dancefloor oriented track, evolving around a mesmerizing acid bass line and french vocals. The emotional breaks and drops add a layer of tension to the hottest tune of the EP.
“Good Old Moments” acts as a bridge between the change in Alex Aguayo style that could be seen in his latest release on Fauve Records and the actual Mahkina project. The balearic nostalgia is inherent to the sounds which remains a very sweet tool for dancefloors thanks to its fast rhythm and the warmth of the dub techno influenced stabs.
“Sale Por El Corazon” was produced a bit later after the other tunes by Mahkina yet it’s really what is giving the relevancy of the whole EP and then its name. Alex managed to capture the brute energy of the inspiration flow, waking up one day at 6am hearing the bass line in his mind and rushed to his PC to record the whole tune. On this track, Alex touched the raw essence of the first Detroit productions with the same influences coming from latin pianos and percussions.
“No Politics” concludes the EP with a beautiful and vibrant balearic house ballad giving space to aerial piano lines.

PREMIERE: Federsen - Reel Phase (Yagya Remix)

The lone remix of 'Defy Everything' comes from Scotty.A who is making his debut on Movement Recordings . Scotty has just come off a great appearance on DAR Digital's 'Showcase 001' compilation which is still doing quite well in the Beatport charts. Scotty's deep and mesmerizing sound continues to be a favourite of both Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren who began championing his productions well over a year ago now. For Scotty's 'Defy Everything' interpretation the UK producer has once again cast a marvellous shimmering haze over the proceedings which is just a pleasure to listen to. Irresistible electronics hooks, deep impact filled bass lines and sheets of washed out atmosphere create a truly surreal environment as the track builds. With the hypnotic momentum already sky high a set of dynamic stabs delivers an added bit of intensity which is sure to push your dance floor over the edge as the track reaches an exhilarating apex.
