Gone is Still Right Here

This song outlines the dysfunctional American society that we now call our reality. From brash realities of school shootings to the riots in public places causing civil unrest, to lyrics “we’ve got a shot kid in the hall of what, buried in his books. Now he’s buried in this book.” “Washington would be embarassed, it’s your job to follow them but don’t you dare make it a problem.” When we wrote this in 2007 we had already seen so much change in our young lives all being roughly 19-21, still today these lyrics are more relevant to the times than the day they were written and for this very reason I dedicate my life to music, it transcends time and it’s purpose grows stronger over time. Thank you for the listen.
