Songs From The Wounded Heart is a deeply personal anthology—an emotional tapestry woven from sorrow, memory, and quiet resilience.

Spanning more than a decade of composition, this collection features both new works and reimagined, re-mastered selections from my earlier catalog. Now presented in high-resolution 24-bit audio, each piece has been carefully preserved and enhanced to reflect its original emotional weight with greater clarity and depth.

From the mournful ambience of Harrowing Emptiness to the delicate piano-led reflection of Jake's Theme, and the poignant stillness of Weeping Angels and Candles, each track serves as a sonic elegy—an outlet for grief, healing, and remembrance.

This album is not merely music. It is a refuge for the wounded. A balm for those navigating loss. And a quiet reminder that there is beauty even in brokenness.

On September 15, the Cassini probe ended its 20-year mission to Saturn and its moons, going out in a blaze of glory. Cassini, and its accompanying Huygens probe lander, have awed us with images and stories of Saturn, and have inspired a new generation of scientists and engineers. 

I find it weird that I feel sad for this probe. It was just a hunk of metal and circuitry, controlled by humans from a desk far away. But these things we make, and send off into the sky, have an uncanny ability to become more than just tools. They become partners in discovery, and I think that says more about us as humans than most things.   

As a tribute to Cassini's contribution to scientific discovery, I wrote this. It's just a bit of generic orchestral Americana - but anything less feels unfitting for such an American hero. We'll miss you, Cassini.
