The choice of title reveals that this is a traditional folk song with elements of neoclassical music.

Samhain, which is pronounced “Sauwen” (with a breathy “w”), marks the beginning, end and new beginning. While the time of summer has finally come to an end, a new year is already beginning...

My entry into the EastWest Demo Contest (Jan, 2016). The rules required the piece to only use instruments from the EastWest Solo Cello and Solo Harp libraries. I must say, I really enjoyed the challenge of having only a small palette to work from.

'Ambush' is an older track from a long-dead project I started many years ago. It's a long track, featuring some ambient electronics and vocals, but ramping up into a 4-on-the-floor epic orchestral hybrid track which is very reminiscent of the Juno Reactor/Don Davis collabs for The Matrix. Then drops back into an bittersweet ambient vocal melody at the end. Enjoy!

A dark, atmospheric track from an old album project I never completed. Sinister undertones abound, with ambient vocals and synth, and an effected ethnic wind instrument which adds a mysterious feeling. It's a real instrument, too - played by me. I don't know the name of it, though... one of those random gifts from a family member. It made cool sounds, though!
