London based DJ/producer Urmet K joins musical forces with vocalist Billie Fountain for their standout single on King Street titled "Sunshine." Kicking things off are the "2018 Revision" and "2018 Instrumental" of "Sunshine." Billie's smooth and sultry vocals mix perfectly with a melodic and moody bass line to make this an instant club classic. Closing out the release is the original mix of "Sunshine," a deep and sexy early morning jam perfect for the sunrise or sunset.

TIMANTI delivers a stunning body of work via legendary label Last Night On Earth. A carefully constructed selection of productions, each with its own delicacies and obvious strengths. The beauty of the record is evident right from the first track, and you can instantly hear the hours of passion oozing out of each sound.

Title track ‘La Donna’ sees TIMANTI create a contemplative sonic landscape, an enormous space for the dancers to explore. Delving into a palate of fat drums, a pulsating synth bass and streams of choral voices drifting overhead. ‘Intrinsic Virtue’ follows, which is a percussive masterpiece that induces the sounds of the outdoors, like a midnight trip in the woods with an accompanying soundscape.

TIMANTI dedicates the third piece to revolutionary Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, a bubbling roller that doesn’t stop thanks to it's bright melodic percussion and warm bassline. Finally, rounding off the record we have ‘Lola’. A similar texture to the lead track yet creates a different groove to move to. Bright piano licks interspersed over a tribal drum pattern and a wobbling marimba sound leading across the entire track.

First released on their No Stoppin EP in 2003, M.A.N.D.Y.'s 'Tonite' now gets a fresh remaster for 2020 with huge new remixes from Rebolledo, Pete Tong, Maga, President Bongo, m.O.N.R.O.E. and dubspeeka.

Opening up the package in fantastic fashion is Rebolledo, the long time Kompakt artist and original Pachanga Boy. His Collector's Edition mix is a smooth and seductive one with lush synths and nimble grooves all working you into a trance. Radio 1's vital veteran and enduring global tastemaker Pete Tong then steps up with a rare remix that shows why he is such a widely respected icon. He goes for a more prickly version which is lit up with big chords and has plenty of kinetic drum energy and epic breakdowns. Next up, French producer Maga's musical project has turned into a real journey through melodic, organic and minimalistic patterns that cast a fine spell. His version is built on a bass guitar riff that loops beneath cleverly treated vocals and becomes magically psychedelic.

Iceland's President Bongo was a founder of the cult GusGus band who now works solo on the Radio Bongo label and has his own distinctive sound. Evidence of that comes here with a superbly spooky version that has vocal chants shimmering about the mix and races late into the night on an indie licked rhythm. Then it is to Miami's m.O.N.R.O.E., who has been a regular guest on this label over the years and mixed America Gets Physical back in 2018. His version is the deepest of the lot, with subtle claps, atmospheric samples, bird calls and humid grooves that lock you in. Bristol techno producer dubspeeka always brings the UK sound and sense of grimy soul to his music, and he does so again here with a hard hitting, dubbed out yet dreamy rework full of class. Last of all is a fresh remaster of the original version which sounds as crisp and brain soothingly clean as it did when first released.

This top tune is set to be a smash for a second time round thanks to these vital remixes.

Faking my age, in my early teens in the 80's I ventured into some of the biggest clubs in London playing High Energy music to massive crowds, and, as House Music began to evolve, the first underground clubs that started to play it in London to a handful of eager early shakers.
As underground House began to fuse in the early 90's with the mainstream sounds of the bigger clubs I became one of London's first Go-Go dancers, with a weekly residency at one of London's legendary nights in the history of Dance Music, Love Muscle at The Fridge in Brixton, and occasional appearances around the same time at Space in Ibiza.
In the mid 1990s I moved to the States, living in LA, San Franciso, Miami and New York, and soon became a child of the Circuit, regularly attending Probe and The House of Blues in LA, Universe and Mass in San Francisco, Salvation in Miami, Twilo, Equinox and The Roxy in New York and most of the big Circuit Parties in America throughout the year, alongside the clubs in Ibiza, London, Sydney and around the world.
Since then my tastes have evolved to include Tech House and Techno, and Tribal continues to course through the rhythm of my life.
