This track is a straight up remix of one of the greatest songs of all time - "I Can't Go For That." I couldn't bring myself to put a different vocal on top of this one, so I sped the song up a bit and then cut the beat in half to make it into a fresh slow jam.

New York native Scott Melker doubled down with Miami based production outfit Glow Team to produce a banging heavy-hitter that's perfect for late night cruising and pre-party turning-up. Titled "No No Way," the tune rides an undulating wave that coasts along on mellow, atmospheric runs before plunging into fierce, hard-hitting bass sequences. 

"No No Way is a track that I started almost two years ago. I chopped up the vocal sample, trapped it out, and put it on my to-do list to finish," said Melker. "When I met the young geniuses from Glow Team, I sent the track over and let them run with it."

"When Melker showed us the track, we instantly knew we had to bounce on the beat. It just clicked," added Glow Team.

After several weeks of going back and forth, both artists realized they were sitting on something special. Fans of Glow Team will hear their stamp on the track in its high-octane build-ups and frenetic sound effects, whereas Melker's touch is apparent in the tune's bouncing, trap-inspired rhythm and spliced vocals. Despite the ferocity of its beat and the raw intensity of its bass drops, "No No Way" is painted in a haunting and almost melancholy light by a simple three-note melody framed by evocative arpeggios.

This track features one of my favorite (and less known) Fleetwood Mac songs "Never Going Back Again." The country twang made for a really interesting vibe, and Yung Joc seemed to fit perfectly.

The Melker Project - Never Goin' Down Again ft. Fleetwood Mac & Yung Joc

This one makes sense on so many levels.  First, I mixed the stems from the Fleetwood Mac classic "Rhiannon" with Rihanna's song "Cockiness." This was a serious undertaking, considering I had to remove all of the drums from Rhiannon and replay/resynch the remaining parts of the song to the Rihanna Instrumental.  

Since I have been calling myself Skeevie Tricks for quite a while (since Skeetwood Mac was born), I figured I had to mix Stevie Nicks and Tricky Daddy.  And it all came together in this track.
