The percussion just felt like it had a home there. Strings added some etherealizing, which seemed warranted. The organ was purposely very funky in that grand Philly-jazz-organ tradition. Would have loved to get a sound like a B3 on an overdriven Leslie especially in the left hand) but this setting on my Yammie was as close as I could get. Tenor was further out, of course, a little closer to that Ornette Coleman vibe. What I have for instruments is (in order)
