First take of a song I wrote in 2005 called Sha Grin.
Solos were later worked out and song was performed a lot in 2005 - 2006.  It was later pulled from the repertoire, as it was quite boring and a bit trippy at times.

Rush had a very big influence on me growing up.  I loved all the bass melodies and guitar chords, and incorporated keyboards that Rush created and put together.  Neil Peart is also a monster on the drums, and I wanted to leave the drum riffs simple and left more to the imagination of the listener.  This saved me a lot of time during the programming of the tracks, and more time on the final mix of the demo.
Day Dream was written in 1996 and also has words, which I will publish here at a later date.  Enjoy!

In My Mind Demo 1995

Originally written in 1994, and later demo tracked in 1995.  There was a lot going on with this song.  I used my Kramer Focus 6000 back then with an 18 volt Live Wire pickup to get that midrange crunch in the guitar tracks.  The other guitar chords are synthesized, along with several violin and orchestrated tracks going on in the mix.  The piano idea was from Ozzy Osbourne, and some Zack Wylde riffs in the mix.  I also threw in some Judas Priest influence and what you hear was the overall demo from 1995, and later transferred to PC in 2001.  Enjoy!
