This song was released in 2002. It contains samples from the song "Very Special" by Debra & Ronnie Laws which was released in 1981. I always enjoyed the song and it had been a while since I heard it. I didn't want to take the initial feel away but rather give you my opinion. I tried not to over produce, I slowed it down to give it a more emotional feel but added the busy drums to balance it out. I also re sampled some pieces of the original song for the intro and outro aswell as add one extra synth to give it a hint of new melody. This is the first mix from a live recording of an AMAZING night at the world-famous Stephen Joseph Theatre, U.K. It features great solos from Martin Longhawn (piano), Stu MacDonalld (Bari Sax), Dave Kemp (Tenor), Tom Sharp (Trumpet), Tom I'anson (Trombone) and Paul Baxter (Double Bass). Drums was Steve Hanley, Percussion Paul Tilley, with me on Guitar, Voice and Triangle. The band were on top form, and this was the final tune of the evening. "Leave it Up To Me" is an original song by Tom Townsend.
